On April 1st, 2025, Chicago’s Builder’s BLDG was transformed into a dazzling showcase of sound and celebration for the Modern Luxury Weddings Spring-Summer Issue Launch Party.
With a theme that lived up to its name—All That Glitters—this event wasn’t just a magazine launch. It was the party that set the tone for the season’s most iconic weddings.
Deux Weddings was proud to be a featured event partner, bringing next-level energy with a DJ set, video DJ booth, an electric violinist, and full audiovisual production.

A Night of Sparkle: The Scene & Setting
Hosted in the stunning Builder’s BLDG (a DineAmic Hospitality property with incredible city vibes), this celebration brought together around 250 guests and some of the most exciting talents in the Chicago wedding industry.
From the second guests stepped in, the atmosphere was electric.
With chefs serving up inspired bites, craft cocktails flowing, and even a pool table in the mix, the night got rolling with an irresistible momentum that didn’t let up.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
And the space? Pure magic.
Every corner glimmered with intentional design and creativity, setting the perfect stage for the launch of the Modern Luxury Weddings Spring-Summer Issue.
The Deux Weddings Experience: Music, Video & Vibes
Bringing unique value to this event, Deux Weddings was in the mix in the best way possible, curating the sound, visuals, and the energy that fueled the entire night.
Our wedding DJs kept the vibe on-point, while a video DJ booth added immersive visuals that amped up the experience.
The surprise electric violinist set was a crowd favorite, elevating the performance and drawing audible “wows” from across the room.
We also handled the full AV setup and captured the night through cinematic videography.
The result? An enchanting night that came alive with rhythm, style, and gilded creativity.
All That Glitters: The Theme, Fashion & Wow Factor
With a theme like All That Glitters, you’d expect sparkle—and this party delivered.
Guests embraced the glittery dress code in full force, turning the room into a sea of shimmer and style.
A standout feature, maybe even the design centerpiece, was the show-stopping cover, blown up and surrounded by lovely florals, disco balls, and chandeliers.
From golden hues to metallic textures, this event was a walking mood board for any couple dreaming of a high-glam wedding.
And around practically every corner, there was another perfect photo op for socials.
